CAD/CAM systems in the design and manufacturing of new products and molds.
In-house mold design capabilities allow Plasticraft to reduce the time required
in the mold building process.

Up-to-date mold
building equipment used by skilled technicians in the building of molds includes
CNC plunge and wire EDM’s, CNC mills and a vast assortment of conventional
equipment. A large quantity of replacement mold components are available
in-house, which shortens downtime when mold repair is necessary.

Molding machines
are completely rebuilt in-house, with computer controllers being added to some
machines. A complete stock of repair parts is counted among the inventory, which
also reduces downtime.

Over 65 molding machines ranging from 40 tons to 1,500 tons are used. Plasticraft uses
rotary table and shuttle table machines for insert molded products. B-13 and B-15 Blow Molding
machines are also available. Plastic resin processing capabilities include a wide range of both commercial
and engineering grade materials. Post operations include: Ultra-Sonic Welding, Hot Stampling, Pad Printing,
assembly and bagging capabilities.
