Earth-tone colors that blend with almost any outdoor settings. The molded-in shingle pattern roof gives the house a great rustic look.

The removable front door hinges upward for easy access to the interior. You can clean the interior of house or check the condition of the young bluebirds with minimum effort. The door is held closed with a secure -- yet simple -- latch mechanism.

A 1¹/₂ inch diameter entrance hole is just the right size for bluebirds. The hole size and the lack of a perch helps to protect the nesting birds by keeping predators away from the nest entrance.

Vents are located in the front and back at the top and bottom of the Natureline Bluebird House. These vents, along with the insulated attic, help to keep the temperature inside the house at a comfortable level -- even in the hottest weather. Drain slots are located at the bottom front of the house to quickly drain any water that may get into the house from wind-blown rain.

The raised nesting platform helps to control parasites -- especially the blowfly larvae. This helps keep the nesting birds and their young much healthier.

Special mounting bosses are molded inside the new style door for mounting an optional “bird ladder”. Tree swallows compete with bluebirds for nesting space in some parts of the country. They build a shallow nest and have difficulty climbing out of any bluebird box whether wood or plastic. The Natureline Bluebird Ladder is a simple and effective way to assist the tree swallows in safely exiting the nest at fledging time.

“Stand-off mounts” are molded into the back of the house. These “stand-off mounts” allow the box to be mounted on any flat surface without blocking any of the vent slots.

The Natureline Bluebird House is packaged fully assembled and ready to be mounted in the location of your choice (mounting hardware is not supplied). The bluebird house is 7³/₄ inches wide X 12⁵/₈inches high X 6⁵/₈ inches deep. Mounting instructions and professional tips for attracting bluebirds are included with each Natureline Bluebird House.
