About Us

Plasticraft Manufacturing Company was established in 1972 to manufacture plastic components by injection molding and blow molding. Plasticraft specializes in high volume production of plastic components for the power tool, furniture, cabinet and lawn and garden industries. Most orders are shipped directly from our inventory within 24 hours. Custom molding of specialized parts and products, as well as stock parts and nature products are produced at our facilities.

In addition to molding, Plasticraft incorporates assembly of components, ultrasonic welding, hot stamping and automation techniques into its operation. With the in-house Engineering and Design Department and Mold Fabrication Department, Plasticraft has the ability to assist customers with the development and modifications of custom items. AutoCAD, CADKEY, and Pro/ENGINEERING systems are utilized in the design of new products and molds. Our mold building technicians utilize CNC EDMs, CNC Wire EDMs, and CNC Mills as well as conventional equipment.

In an effort to produce the highest quality product at a competitive cost, Plasticraft utilizes its Quality Assurance Department to the maximum. The use of SPC, material traceability, virgin plastic raw materials, detailed inspections and tests as well as the continued education of employees is of utmost importance. Plasticraft is very near the completion of its ISO 9002 certification.

Plasticraft has increased its production capabilities by adding a 75,000 sq. ft. location in Wilton, Iowa. This is in addition to the 140,000 sq. ft. Alabama facility. The two plants have approximately 60 molding machines.
